Mowtech Warranty Information
1. Scope of this Warranty
This warranty applies to Mowtech-branded stand-on mowers sold by authorised Mowtech dealers or through Mowtech’s own Australian website.

Residential use: coverage for two (2) years from date of purchase.

Commercial use: coverage for two (2) years from date of purchase.
This warranty runs in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. ACCC+1
2. What is Covered
During the warranty period, Mowtech will, at its option, repair or replace any component (excluding wear items) that fails due to defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and maintenance.
Coverage includes:

Engine (subject to manufacturer’s terms)
-
Transmissions
-
Fabricated deck and structural frame
-
PTO clutch, drive belt system
-
Other covered components as listed in the product manual
3. What is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear (eg: blades, tyres, belts, filters).

Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accident, unauthorised modification, incorrect maintenance, or failure to follow the owner’s manual.

Goods used in rental, hire, or non-contractor commercial operations (unless specified).
-
Items where the serial number, original purchase documentation, or warranty registration is missing.
4. Warranty Conditions
To make a warranty claim you must:

Provide proof of purchase and the product serial number.

Provide evidence of regular maintenance and service history in line with the owner’s manual.

Deliver (or arrange collection of) the mower to an authorised Mowtech service centre or as directed by Mowtech.

Pay any transport costs to/from your location unless otherwise agreed under commercial arrangements.
5. Rights Under the Australian Consumer Law
Under the ACL, you have consumer guarantees for goods that cannot be excluded. These cover issues such as fitness for purpose, acceptable quality, and matching description. This warranty is in addition to those rights and does not replace them. ACCC+1
6. How to Make a Claim

Contact Mowtech Australia on [Insert Contact Details / Email / Phone].

Describe the defect and provide proof of purchase and serial number.

Mowtech will assess and provide a claim reference and instructions.

Once approved, you must deliver the product to the designated service centre.

Mowtech will repair or replace the defective component and return the product (subject to terms).
7. Limitation of Liability
To the full extent permitted by law, Mowtech’s liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the goods. Mowtech is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss.
8. Transfer and Duration
This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable to subsequent owners unless explicitly stated. It lasts for the specified period from the date of purchase under Section 1.

Please keep your proof of purchase, serial number, and service history in a safe place.
