Refund policy

Returns for Mowers

Mowtech mowers are commercial-grade machinery and are not eligible for change-of-mind returns. Once a mower has been purchased, assembled, fueled, operated, or used in any way, the item is considered used equipment and cannot be returned for refund.

We do not accept returns for:

  • Incorrect purchase choice / change of mind

  • Misunderstood features or specifications

  • Fit-for-purpose decisions based on personal preference

This is standard practice for commercial machinery and is supported under Australian Consumer Law.

Our mowers come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to:

  • A repair, replacement or refund if the product has a major failure

  • A repair if the failure is minor

A major failure is defined as:

  • The product is unsafe

  • The product is significantly different from the description

  • The product cannot be repaired within a reasonable timeframe

  • The product is unfit for purpose and cannot be made fit within a reasonable timeframe

If the issue is minor, Mowtech will repair the mower within a reasonable time.

Warranty Claims

Mowtech mowers are covered under a warranty policy separate to this return policy.
Warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover:

  • Wear and tear items (belts, blades, bearings, tyres, filters, paint, plastic covers)

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, incorrect operation, incorrect fuel/oil, or lack of maintenance

  • Commercial usage beyond recommended service intervals

Include:

  • Full name

  • Serial number

  • Proof of purchase

  • Photos/video of the issue

A technician may be required to inspect the mower.

Damaged on Delivery

If your mower arrives damaged in transit, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
We will arrange repair or replacement depending on the level of damage.
